Jigs and the Red Balloons

Thursday night was Versatility night at the barn.  I was intent on finding an obstacle or object to challenge Jigs, so I strung together a bunch of shiny red Mylar balloons rescued from work- they were slated for the trash. Un-inflated and tied with baling twine to a lunge whip, they make a fairly frightening flag.

NONE of the horses wanted any part of it. It was SO SCARY it was taken out of the game – without it, 100%; 90% with it.

So Saturday and Sunday Jigs and I spent some quality time getting closer to it.

Maybe next weekend I’ll try to carry it from his back.
