End of Summer
The grand boys go back to school in a few weeks. Can’t believe summer is almost gone. Where did it go?
Despite the hottest summer in years, Jigs and I have been busy. Versatilities. Lessons. Trail rides. Just hanging out.
Beyond the barn, life has been topsy turvy. Nothing is normal or settled. At the end of each harried day, Jigs has been there.
He is my constant friend, steady, and, for the most part, willing through all that has transpired, is transpiring. His shoulder is good to lean on. He listens without judging. He reminds me of who I am.
I am thankful for having him in my life.
